Managing Director
Nic co-founded the business in 1989 to give expression
to his passion for sustainable energy and concern
about the environment.
He has guided development of the organization to it's
present stage of being a small but innovative business
serving many satisfied customers throughout North
Queensland and beyond.

MAX ENFIELD
Technical Director
BSc, AACS, Affil IE Aust
Max has been the Technical Director of Planetary Power
since he co-founded the business with Nic Speed in
1989. His work involves the technical design, systems
design and project management of remote area and renewable
energy power supply systems.
He is also involved in the development of export markets
and in providing advice and support to Planetary Power's
many customers.
His current interests include foreign travel; his
local community; listening to classical music; the
Rush Track project & his donkey Juanita; throwing
the javelin to keep fit and enjoying the peace and
seclusion of his rustic cottage set amongst bush land
at Walsh River.

Norbert Liebrich
Senior Installer
Norbert Liebrich has been associated with Planetary
Power since it started operating in 1989 and has held
the position of Senior Installer since 1996.
His experience has covered assessment, design, installation
and maintenance of many RAPS systems involving PV,
micro-hydro and wind.
He has been responsible for the installation of most
of our RAPS systems since 1996
He is our specialist in the area of micro-hydro assessment
and installation.
Norbert served his apprenticeship in Kaiserslautern,
Germany from 1966 to 1969 obtaining his trade certificate
as an Electrical Mechanic.
In 1973 he graduated in Electrical Engineering from
the Technische Fachhochschule Berlin.
Norbert is married with four sons.

Patrick McHugh
BEng (Hons) Electroacoustics (Salford)
Post Grad. Diploma Energy Studies (Murdoch)
Patrick had many years experience in IT and as an
electronics technician before pursuing an interest
in renewable energy and becoming part of the technical
team at Planetary Power.
In addition to his academic qualifications Patrick
has a level III trade certificate in Electrical and
Electronic Engineering from Warwick TEC (UK).
He is currently completing a masters degree in Renewable
Energy at Murdock University.

Chris Peckham - Installer
Chris has been with us since 2006 and is involved
in doing the installations of many of our customers.
He has also been our main installer in the all telecommunications
work we have been doing.

Crystal Stone
Trainee Business Manager
Crystal has been with Planetary Power since 2005 and
handles administration and customer reception. She
is currently undertaking a Certificate 3 traineeship
in Business Administration.
Having lived most of her life in a solar powered home,
she has a good understanding of the practical aspects
of renewable energy.
Her interests include travelling, horse riding, gardening
and reading.
